It's been ages since I updated this or added new deviations- sorry, been a slow year for art! I hope to remedy that very soon. I've just (finally) uploaded a photo of the finished Bear painting (plus a pic of yours truly in the scraps section) and a new painting that I've been working on as a Christmas gift for a friend of mine. Comments gratefully received.

Hi all

I'm working - very slowly- on a painting for the nursery of my friend's baby who is due to be born next month. It's a canvas, 40 cm by 100 cm, and I'm working in acrylic and emulsion. It's a scene of seven teddy bears relaxing in the nursery in front of a sunny window.

I'm going completely against accepted practice and painting the foreground figures before the background, but I think it'll work well for me in this case. The final painting will appear in full when it's done, but for now I'm posting the various stages of its development in my scraps section. Comments welcome.

After what seems like ages....well, actually, it IS ages....I have uploaded a new painting! I have been terribly lazy in recent months, but this commission got me painting again. It's a traditional watercolour painting. I'm sorry that the scan is rubbish- I'll get a better quality photo soon I hope. Your comments always appreciated.
